Great things fall apart so better ones can take their place!

Hey guys, sorry I haven't posted in a while...

So pretty much the title has to do with my favorite YouTube celebrities, MusicalBethan and LukeIsNotSexy... So basically Luke and Bethan met online, became really great friends, Luke got a girlfriend and Bethon was really upset. Eventually Bethan and Luke met, Fell in LOVE (aww) and started dating. They put all these cute posts up about eachother etc. And now :( :( They broke up, the posts just stopped. Bethan and Luke both chose this week to write their new single for Bethan and first single for Luke, They are both really sad songs, and really good at the same time... People have started Hating on either Bethan and Luke and I think it really sucks! They unsubscribing now from them too. So sad *Sheds single tear* It's so sad to see them broken up but, I guess great things fall apart so better ones can take their place!

On Saturday we boxed our Mare and her 2 foals back to our house, so Dancing Dream(Mare), China Mist(Filly) and Cairo Bell(Younger Filly) are making our stables look like stables again! We also picked up the new addition to Taratay, Mentor our new school pony. He is safe and sound at the yard!

Last Thursday I went on a date with this guy and he is really sweet, you know... The whole open the door for the girl etc. There is one slight problem though... I know he likes me more than I like him(Gosh please don't be reading this), and it goes against one of my top rules "Don't date friends exes!" So now what do I do?? She is technically not one of my friends anymore and we hardly speak but still.... HELP! 

Then there was Friday night, I had a bunch of my closest friends meet up at Manhattan's, now don't get me wrong I love Stones and Doors and places like Hatties, but Manhattan's is up there with Movida being the classiest place yet! I love going there! Anyway, we danced most of the night away! We arrived at about 8 and only left at 2 the next morning, not great for me as I had to be at work at 7, but I'm young and tough I handled my day and no one ever knew!

Saturday night was the most chilled I had great company and 2 great movies to keep me occupied at the Velskoen Drive-In, yes we still have those... lol I would rather go to one that is a proper(not very fancy) Drive-In with crappy food and parking but the same enjoyment! Got to bed again late, this time leaving at 1:30. And up and bubbly Sunday morning to feed and sort out the Horses at home!

So I'm really excited at the moment, It is Avicci at H2O this weekend!! YAY!!! I'm going to be rocking it VIP style! lol Let me know who else is going to be there! It's not hard to drop a comment! Anywho... Lovies! Untill next time!

SEXY HORSE RIDERS!

Okay I have loads of photos from the ranch yesterday... I'm only putting up a few for now, the ones I have. I wanted to get a pic of our green team, but haven't got them yet from the photographer yet, so as soon as I have them I will post them! So far I think I have the funniest ones.

A big thank you to everyone at Taratay for making the day so AMAZING!! All the teams looked SO amazing!! Well done to the Red team for winning the weekend at Diamond X Ranch. The blue team a well done too for coming in second! Well, the Green team you Rock for third and Yellow team well done for participating!! Oh yeah! A BIG thank you to all the Cowboys at Diamond X Ranch and to all the horses!! Thanks Taratay, without you all we would not be such a successful yard with such great 'family' members! Everyone who rode I know the Taratay instructors are proud, and to all the spectators you looked awesome! Well done to Bob and Florence(My gran and grandpa) for winning Best Dressed Spectator!

I don't have much to say just that it was a really awesome day! Fun had by all!

Catch up Post

I haven’t posted in like forever! Things have been so hectic...

Been so busy, this weekend was packed! Friday night I moved house.  Saturday was at the stables most of the day and moved the last stuff from my house, then Saturday Night was the 1925 live concert at Old MK’s Unplugged(sounds cooler than Lietjieboer). Hehe, It was loads of fun, met some awesome people! Then Sunday night Nico came over for a braai and we walked around the plot aimlessly looking at the stars, it was a really good night. I had drinks with my boys on Monday night always a great time with my Rob and Nico. Tuesday night was Drinks at the stables with the girls(Sharla and Megs) and then on to Casa Divinci for dinner. Wednesday was stuck in my bed thanks to Panache and then last night had Stants over for dinner at home.  See, been really busy!!

I moved back to my old house in Midrand and pretty much the deal with the new house fell through... So I now have to introduce my two dogs, Amber and Rocky, they have been fine on leads together on walks,  but not on their home territory. Now I’m moving Amber into Rocky’s domain... Rocky is pretty chilled so I’m hoping all goes well! That’s next weekend’s problem though.

So, Crystal and I have made the waistcoats and scarves this week as well for our team for the Diamond X show! Our name is Team Goodnight and colour is green. Charles Goodnight being our chosen cowboy, we decided to make everything a bright green, which is my favourite colour... The waistcoats are black and have a green inside, tassels from halfway down with a green G on the back. The scarves are green with each team member’s name and ‘GNITE’, Just to add a little funk. It took Crystal and I AGES to paint them, cut out design, measure everyone, and then stitch it all together!  I will post the team photos of our costumes after Sunday. We have a little secret though, that no one else has... WE HAVE JADEN!  Jaden is Crystal’s little cousin, the cutest little mascot ever, and she is dressed just like us!

Work is killing me! I have so much that I need to get done and don’t know where to start, Hope my boss is not reading this post... *face palm* Couldn’t work yesterday cause I couldn’t walk. Panache decided that she wanted to kick Romeo and I was in the way, Two double barrels, one to my leg and hip and the other just an inch from my head. Pretty scary at the time, she really needs to stop the whole kicking thing she does! My groom, Charles came to me afterwards and expressed how she almost kicked off my head. Happy days! What horses put us through, I swear, but we will go back and love them! Always!  <3

So we have finalised plans for the USA I am super excited!! With the house etc, not really going through I’ve been moved to the top of the list... Got the ticket for the 24^th of April, will be going to get my Visa on Monday! Exciting stuff. My flight takes off from O R Tambo International headed for London Heathrow airport, I have a 5hour stop over there, then from there to San Francisco! Where there is a 2,5hour drive to the farm in Milton. It’s a long trip, but I’m not worried at all.

A pinch and a punch for the first day of the month.

Okay so I apologize for my last post... It was lacking in the pictures department, So I promise to make up for it now J

I’ve come to realize that no one actually reads my blog, lol, so I could pretty much say anything I want! Yeah I think most of my page views are me, logging on from different pc’s. Please comment, let me know you’re out there, whoever you are. Are you reading?? Ah, well. I’m here...



I wanted to show you something, This was me a few weeks ago, and now... I think the black works better? Any suggestions?



 To the left is my gran and I, this was in December for christmas, we had a pretty great day...  To the right is a photo we took at Hatfield Square, on a girls night out! Zoe, Nats, Me then Megs. Hehe,only Zoe, the middle of winter and shes hardly wearining clothes!                                                       

I've had a pretty hectic couple of days, trying to get the workload done before its due is a complete nightmare! Luckily I did get through it all...

The parents are wanting to do everything in order of priority, so I'm waiting for my visa to reach top of the list. At the moment the big 'move' to Bluehills seems to be at the top, I don't mind hey, my cottage is being completely redecorated.... ^^)

Bornfree is doing well with the pregnancy so far, getting fatter and fatter! I am still worried a little bit about her veins on the side of her face, the vet did say she would be fine, but I'm watching it closely. For those of you who don't know, when Bornfree was colicing like every month on of the main veins in her neck burst from the drips,but she is still strong! She is a truly amazing horse thats been through so much!

Last night my mom and I went to Monte Casino to watch War Horse, omw...we cried the entire movie! It was a brilliant movie, about this specific horse and his life through the war. It is a tribute to all the horses that died in the war and how the horses actually died and what they all went through.

Before the movie we had waffles! hehe, yip to add the kgs on! After the movie, we went to the casino and played a bit there. Got hit on by this random creep, flashing his 'winnings' around, yeah right and I live under a rock with my pet ant Fred, *facepalm* He was playing the 5c slots! Haha, loser!

I'm currently sitting at work, blegh! Got so much to do and have no idea where to start!
