Phoenix Arizona!

Wow it is hot here! Gosh! There is always this light breeze, but its hotter than the other air, fail! haha. So we got everything to Kate and Miya today, after the loong drive. Their new place is really cool. Kate is Alley's daughter in law, and Miya is Kate’s daughter. She is a sweetheart. So we offloaded it all and helped Kate organise. Then through to our hotel room, we went for a swim, yeah 10 at night and its still hot enough to swim!!

Phoenix is pretty cool, I tried my first proper Mexican Taco on the way here today, it was pretty good and luckily not too spicy. I’ve also come to like salsa, I can take a mild one and its pretty good, so I’m getting over myself in that respect. There is this huge fountain here that shoots a mile or something silly into the air, its crazy!

I’m just sitting here waiting for Brandon to get his ass outa bed and read my messages so I can chat to him. I also sent a message to Tay but she’s not reading it... The swim we had was great, it was defiantly refreshing, gets all the sticky off of you! J

I would love for you guys to comment on if you want more or less details, or if you would like weekly posts instead of daily or something... Let me know, I’m open to suggestions. There are loads of you reading this, yeah I know ^^) I get a report :P! LOL, but none of you follow me... So please click the follow link!

My Post from earlier this morning.

Hey guys! So Alley, Russ and I are on our way to Arizona! ^^) Its 14 hours from home so we still have about  8 hours to go.  The car ride has been pretty good so far, snacking away on Biltong, lol, which is called jerky here! Haha, Alley calls it BullTongue, She thinks its the funniest thing ever...

Its desert here, like sand and shrub, a couple of hills now and then, its quite cool J. Where we drove for a couple of miles there was just Lava rock everywhere, hard, black and dried up, it was pretty in a way.

So yesterday was a pretty productive day, we fixed the gate, the one we had planned to fix the day before. Then we saddled the horses and warmed them up. I rode Ellie, who hasn’t been ridden in a year, she was uneasy at the beginning, but she was very relaxed by the end of the warmup. So then it was time to go out, we rode into Milton. Alley rode Gambler and Bre rode Red. Then we got cleaned up and went off to the Livestock Auction, there was this little pup that was so lonely and sad, Alley thought about taking it home but, we were leaving this weekend so she couldn’t stay in the kennels. They were also selling week old calves, that was not cool cause some of them looked so sick and weak.

Next was Best Buy, they have this section here called the ‘geek squad’ it is pretty cool, so I needed to get my phone sorted and a charger for my laptop. This really nice guy sorted me a cable, so my laptop is up and running again. My phone works with different cell networks but, it is way more expensive than SA and phones don’t work on the Ranch anyway, so it wasn’t really worth it.

All in all I’m having a great time here! I love Alley and Russ and my new friends Gem, Via and Cara... Via is the cutest German Sheppard and she is full of beans and energy. She loves when we take the quad out into the fields cause she’s a ‘working dog’. Hehe, Gemma is a poodle, she used to sleep by Alley’s feet all night, and then I arrived and she totally ditched Alley and now her, the cat and Via all sleep in my bed. Cara is the cutest, she is a huge slobbery dog, the resident guard dog.

I’m learning how to drive the tractor which is pretty cool, Alley has this Huge tractor and she painted the back pink, lol and yeah cause I love pink :p. Russ has a Tractor too but its a smaller one, the cool thing is its orange J

Alley and I were speaking and we are thinking of teaching Via how to play frisby, so I’ll let you know how that goes! She can really jump high and she does for a stick so its now just to get her to chase a stick. J

We just drove past Essex, I’ve always heard of it, but its pretty cool that I get to see it! We are staying in this really pretty hotel tonight, and we booked for a good price, because it is so hot in Arizona, no one wants to come here, so they are having really good deals at the moment.

Ian would actually love the small towns around here, I was thinking about him cause there are like 5 in every 10 cars are a Mustang or some other muscle car. ^^)

Everything that could have gone wrong did!

Okay so I still haven't got a charger for my laptop and stuff so I guess i'm gona have to start again...

It all began at the airport in Jozi when I had to say goodbye to everyone... Tay made me feel the worst, gosh I'm going to miss my lil sister. So waterworks from every direction not helping the situation.

Then I walk aaaall the way to the boarding gate A12, to discover it had been changed to A23, which is on the other side of the airport, so I walked all the way there!

Gosh then for the scissors in my space case that I had forgotten, pretty much everything went smoothly from then on.

I get on the plane, find my seat and make friends with the family next to me, they were actually pleasent people. It is really terriable when you get grumpy neighbours on a plane! So we are sitting chatting and all is good, Take off went well and we are up in the air. Now all I want to do is relax and enjoy their 'great onflight entertainment', guess who got the only broken tv.... Yeah, me!! There was a good side to this cause they moved me to another seat, where the row was empty and loads more leg room. The rest of the flight was quite great, and the food was yummy!!

I arrived in London, and all that went well untill I got to security. Tarryn being ultra smart forgot my lip ice tin in my pocket. Yip, strip down! Jacket, Jearsy, Belt and shoes, Patted down, Finally they realised that I'm not going to kill them and they let me through. I walked around Heathrow looking at all the shops and stuff untill I had to board the next flight.

The next flight had been delayed by 20mins, whiched turned into and hour after I had gotten into the boarding gate waiting room and had been patted down once again and this time they emptied my whole bag too.

Happy times I had... Blegh, So now I get on the next plane and have a rather grumpy neighbour who has a problem with absoloutly everyone on the plane, especially the cabin crew... So that was loads of fun, having a yelling and grumpy man next to me for 10hours...

Then I get off the plane in San Francisco and I'm held in customs for 3hours for them to ask me the same questions they did at the USA Embassey when I got my VISA... So yeah I had a pretty rough time getting here!

But I'm finally here, I love Alley so far and the Ranch is beautiful! Can't wait for it to get 500times better!! 

I really miss my mom at the moment, It's strange being away from her... Hope this feeling goes away. Gosh and if I think about how upset Taylor and Brandon were when I left it kills me... I love you guys!!

Finally here!

I am soo tired right now. Daymn! This was a really long trip and not entirely pleasent! One problem after another... I wrote the blog for today and its on my laptop... So when I figure out how to put my laptop on I'll post it... Probably tomorrow!

Point is I am here Safely...

Sorrrrry!

Hey guys!

So many things have happened recently! I haven't posted for so long! Renovations of my house are going crazy, Bornfree is about to drop and we got two new school ponies that are about to drop too! All in all everything is going well!

So my VISA is sorted and my Flight is booked. I am leaving next week Tuesday! 26th June for Milton! I will be stopping in London and then to San Francisco where Alley will be fetching me!

In the meanwhile since I last posted I fell inlove with my boyfriend Brandon! Yes, me of all people! He is so amazing and special, and most of all perfect for me! It is soo sad that I’m leaving him but hey, I’m coming back right?? So yes loads of changes at the yard, changes with people in my life and loads of awesome planssss!!! ^^)

We went to Durban this weekend and it was really great, we stayed in Zinkwazi Beach, technically not Durban more North Coast. We had a great time and I will put the video’s on YouTube once I’m done editing them!

Been riding with Shaz a lot lately and just having a good time! Had a lot of lasts recently too, Like last weekend at Taratay with my little kids, last weekend with mom, Tay and Ian, last weekend riding here etc…  I’m really excited to be going to the ranch and having an amazing time with Alley and the gang!

Just a short update! Will be way more detailed once I’m in the USA!!!!

Landing the 27^th in the US, Can’t wait!  Chat soon!
